Most Gracious Lord, You work in strange and wondrous ways to show me Your faithfulness and the power of Your grace to deliver me. You’ve helped me overcome pain and sorrow so I could live a victorious life. Because my outcomes have worked together to produce good in my life, I know You have my welfare and well-being in Your heart. Through my darkest hours, You continue to show me that there is a light at the end of the tunnel and that light is You. I am thankful that You stand with me and guide me in straight paths that lead to good. You teach me right from wrong and will not hesitate to disciple me when I need it. As I listen to what You have to say and do what You command, I will feel Your presence throughout my day. When I join hands with You, even the forces of Hell cannot prevail over me. As I accept Your hand and willingly follow Your lead, I will be blessed in all of my ways.
Dear Lord, guide me in everything that I do. Remind me that I am nothing without You and I need Your wisdom to be successful in life. As I take a look around me and see the beautiful and fragrant flowers, the comforting blue sky and the majesty of the mountains, I am appreciative of all the things You’ve provided for my welfare and enjoyment. That thought brought to mind how delicate and fragile my life is and how my peace and well-being depends on Your faithfully watching that strife and harm are held at bay. I believe that as I trust and believe in You, Your wisdom will flood into my life showing me the way to abundance and good things. I cannot comprehend the things that lead to success until I roll up my sleeves and get my hands dirty dealing with the lessons of life and obey Your “words of life” completely. As I bear my cross with patience and perseverance, I will be able to be triumphant with my life.
I must not lose sight of the fact that I am never alone because You are always with me. Each day You build a hedge of protection around me so that I will never have to fear. I marvel at the fact that Your presence is everywhere no matter where I go. Your light shines brightly before me showing the way I should go. You are my everlasting companion who stands with me in all things. I never feel alone because I know that You care about me, love me and will never leave me. As I learn to trust You, my faith has become steadfast like a rock who cannot be moved when evil and difficulties come its way. While I understand that I will experience seasons of plenty and little … strength and weakness … clear thinking and confusion, I know You are with me through them all. Therefore, peace and contentment reign in my heart because You are standing with me. And it’s in Jesus’ name I pray. AMEN!!
